Having a shared hub or Virtual Network Operator (VNO) enables you to effectively manage all of your Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Quality of Service (QoS) contracts. API supports the VNO model, where we coordinate and manage all your sites without the expense and inefficiencies of SCPC, while taking advantage of TDMA to allow for bandwidth re-use to lower costs.
Instead of a large capital investment in a complete ViaSat or iDirect hub and teleport, the VNO model enables you to share hubs by partitioning these facilities and by purchasing the required Gateway Control Unit (GCU) and private satellite space segment.
API offers a convenient plan for you to purchase all of the services such as space segment, teleport uplink services, hub usage and Tier 2 customer support on a per kilobits per second (Kbps) price. This method can save hundreds of thousands of dollars in capital expenses and significant savings on operational costs, compared to owning and operating you own hub.
